Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Sea

What a beautiful ship.  It's too bad the last sailing along the coast of Mexico will be January, 2011.  I love sitting in the promenade watching the other guests go hither and yon from one end to the other.  I love sitting at the cafe listening to the live music and having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.  There was so much to do both on the ship and on the shore excursions.  Nothing like a cruise to "get you away."

A picture of the bridge from the balcony of our cabin.  It was a great location and a fantastic place to get away and have a cup of coffee and a snack.

Wow! Beautiful Fiji

I just returned from a hectic tour in Fiji.  Spent most of the time on the Coral Coast.  It was an enlightening experience to see the "big" chain hotels along this area - the Intercontinental, the Sheraton, Outrigger to name a few.  My love for the warm-hearted people of the area has only grown with each visit I make to this area.

There is nothing like arriving to the music of the staff as they greet you with a bula welcoming song.

Aren't the kids just lovely.  They are a delight to watch as they sing beautiful songs to the guests.
Beautiful beaches for snorkeling or swimming.  Just a little ways out and you can do some deep sea fishing or diving.
